FWSS E-Learning Platform Pilot Training

Οn 5 July 2024, the FWSS E-Learning Platform Pilot Training in Greece served as both an introduction to the platform’s functionalities and a detailed evaluation of its effectiveness across several critical dimensions. Participants were trained to navigate the platform and engage with its content, while providing structured feedback on areas such as user interface (UI) and design, assessing the platform's ease of use, clarity of layout, and overall accessibility. Additionally, the content relevance and quality were scrutinized, with participants evaluating the accuracy, depth, and applicability of the materials to the social sector’s challenges. The platform's technical performance was reviewed for stability, speed, and cross-device compatibility, ensuring that the platform performs reliably under varied conditions.

Advancing Inclusion and Equal Opportunities for Foreign Workers in Social Services: FWSS Project

On May 28, the Social Employers presented the FWSS project objectives and outcomes during an event in Brussels. The event gathered  20 participants from European and national level organisations.

The FWSS project aims to remove barriers and create equal opportunities for foreign workers, to support their inclusion in the social care labour market.

Unveiling Key Resources and elements for Integrating Foreign Workers in Greece's Social Sector

On 23 May 2024, a Multiplier Event of the Foreign Workers in Social Sector project took place in Athens,Greece, bringing together social service professionals, managers, and HR specialists to share key findings and outputs from the project. The event focused on showcasing critical resources and tools available to support the integration of foreign workers into the social sector along with a comprehensive training program developed, which is available as a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

On 22 May 2024, the final conference of the Foreign Workers in Social Sector project (No. 2021-1-CZ01-KA220-VET-000025630) took place in Mikulov.

The FWSS project partners published their guidelines & recommendations on the employment of foreign workers in the social services sector to foster inclusivity and ensure the equitable treatment of all employees.
